Expertise in Minimally Invasive Techniques and Advanced Surgical Care
Dr. Austin Rollins, DPM, is the newest member of the Peoria Foot and Ankle Specialists team, bringing extensive experience in both conservative and surgical care for foot and ankle conditions. He is now seeing patients at our Buckeye, Arizona location, providing personalized treatment plans that help patients recover efficiently while achieving optimal results. Dr. Rollins is dedicated to combining advanced medical expertise with compassionate, patient-centered care.
Specializing in forefoot and rearfoot trauma, reconstructive procedures, and minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Rollins treats a wide range of conditions including fractures, sports injuries, Achilles tendonitis, bunions, and other disorders affecting the foot and ankle. By utilizing advanced surgical techniques when necessary, he is able to minimize discomfort, reduce recovery time, and help patients return to daily activities more quickly. His approach emphasizes achieving long-term outcomes that improve overall mobility and quality of life.
A proud Arizona native, Dr. Rollins earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree at Midwestern University in Glendale. Following graduation, he completed a comprehensive residency at Valleywise Medical Center in Phoenix, where he gained hands-on experience managing complex trauma cases, advanced reconstruction techniques, and a variety of surgical interventions. This combination of education and practical experience allows him to provide both highly specialized surgical care and effective conservative treatments tailored to individual patient needs.
Dr. Rollins has a particular expertise in minimally invasive surgery, which is designed to treat conditions such as bunions, hammertoes, chronic tendon injuries, ankle instability, and certain fractures with smaller incisions, less pain, and faster recovery. These techniques help patients return to normal activities sooner, while also reducing scarring and long-term complications. By blending minimally invasive methods with traditional surgical care when necessary, Dr. Rollins provides treatment options that are effective, efficient, and patient-focused.
In addition to his surgical skills, Dr. Rollins emphasizes conservative care as a first-line approach whenever possible. Treatments such as custom orthotics, bracing, physical therapy, anti-inflammatory therapies, and activity modifications allow many patients to find relief without surgery. This dual approach ensures that every patient receives a personalized treatment plan that aligns with their goals, lifestyle, and overall health needs.
Dr. Rollins is now leading the Peoria Foot and Ankle Specialists’ newest location in Buckeye, AZ, expanding access to high-quality podiatric care for the local community. He is committed to educating patients about their conditions, guiding them through treatment options, and offering strategies to prevent future injuries. His dedication to patient education and communication helps individuals feel confident in their care and empowered to manage their foot and ankle health.
Whether a patient requires advanced surgical intervention or targeted conservative care, Dr. Rollins provides comprehensive, individualized solutions that improve mobility, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life. His combination of expertise, innovation, and compassionate care ensures that patients at the Buckeye location receive the highest level of treatment from diagnosis through recovery.
